Owen Le Vallee - the force behind the Games

We are all deeply saddened to hear about the passing of our dear Owen Le Vallee MBE. Owen was a stalwart of the International Island Games and was the driving force behind Guernsey hosting the second Games in 1987. He was still involved and would send the Organising Committee tips and ideas… he will be sorely missed but we know he will be with us in spirit in July. We’ll do it for you, Owen.

Owen played a key part in the development of the Games and was a Life Member of the IIGA.

We did an interview with Owen back in 2020 and thought it fitting to share this again. Thank you for everything, Owen.
