Games Deputy Director

An exceptional person is needed to help deliver the biggest sporting event that Guernsey has ever hosted. The Guernsey 2023 NatWest International Island Games will be run almost entirely by volunteers, but the Deputy Director position is a paid, full-time, one-year role.
 
Up to 3,500 athletes and team members will travel to Guernsey, as 24 member islands compete across 14 sports on 8-14 July 2023.
 
Applicants for this role must have superb organisation and communication skills and be able to juggle multiple tasks and work under pressure. The Deputy Director will support the Games Director and will also be a self-starter, taking responsibility for key aspects of the event. Previous experience of event or sports management is preferred.
