Come and chill at Beau Sejour, have a drink and grab some food to go. The VraicEaters will be running a tented bar area and there will be a number of food units. Several medal ceremonies will be held in the evenings during the week, along with entertainment.
Sunday 9 - Friday 14 July 10am-10pm (closes at 2pm on 14 July)
This display emphasises the legacy of the Island Games in Guernsey and includes the many achievements of past and present athletes, organisers and volunteers. Guernsey Museum at Candie is open daily 10am-5pm with free entry for Discovery Pass holders and their children.
Guernsey Arts ran the Islands Digital Arts Open where artists from the member islands of the Island Games Association were invited to submit digitally reproduced pieces of their work for display during the week. You can see a display at the George Crossan Gallery in the Market Buildings from 9am to 5pm every day.
Boccia is an inclusive sport, suitable for those with high support needs. Similar to bowls and pétanque, played with soft leather balls, it’s a hugely popular sport of tactics and skill. Come and watch – then have a go yourself!
If you can’t make the first Boccia session (or you want to play again!) join us at the Aztech Centre for another game. It’s great for getting everyone involved, so bring the whole family.
Prepare to be inspired as well as informed. Come along to the Chamber of Commerce to hear Sophie Veron talk about other Para athletes in Guernsey and share her own journey.
Watch the inspirational Jay Webber, joint winner of the Febrache & Farrell LLP Trophy for the Parasport Athlete with a Learning Impairment Award, take on Medha Vallapureddy.
From Monday 10th July until Thursday 13th July, the Island Games Club will be open from 2pm until midnight offering athletes, visitors and locals a place to share their experiences, grab a drink, watch live streams and highlights, enjoy live music, and grab some tasty, freshly-prepared BBQ food from 5pm. St James has a fully stocked bar, multiple screens and plenty of spaces to sit inside or outside. Entry Free.

We extend a warm welcome to all who will be visiting Guernsey for the NatWest International Island Games 2023.
We are distributing a leaflet listing a selection of the churches and their Sunday services to all the hotels and other accommodation where competitors and officials will be staying.
The Town Church, near the Albert Pier in St Peter Port, will be the focus for the spiritual support which the churches will be offering to our visitors. A team of volunteers will be in the church during Saturday 8 July to greet visitors and offer support. The church will be open throughout the Games week, offering a space for people to sit quietly, say a prayer, or light a candle.
We will also be able to introduce visitors to the other faith communities represented in Guernsey.
