Greenland is a place of outstanding natural beauty, featuring fjords, glaciers and icebergs, with polar bears, reindeer and Arctic wolves and foxes among its magnificent fauna.
Greenland is part of the Kingdom of Denmark, but is self-governing. Most Greenlanders are of Inuit extraction. Fishing and tourism are the mainstays of the economy.
