The Guernsey Table Tennis Centre is located at the Hougue du Pommier, along with Indoor Bowls and Air Shooting.
The Centre is next door to Le Pommier Hotel. The entrance is down a driveway that will be signposted at the end and there will be a number of feather flags in place. There is car parking, but this is likely to get busy with three sports at the venue.
Guernsey Buses regular services will be free during the games, making transport easier for islanders and visitors, starting the day before the games on Friday 7th July, and continuing until the end of the games on Friday 14th July.

Although we do not have an Uber service in Guernsey, you can hail taxis on both Android and iPhone using the States of Guernsey new Taxi App which has been launched in time for the Games.
The app provides ad on-demand sevice. Pre-booking a taxi in advance will still need to be done by contacting taxi companies directly. The app will provide an estimated fare for the journey, however, the fare will be taken from the in-vehicle taxi meter and paid directly to the driver.
Walking from St Pierre Park Hotel to Guernsey Table Tennis Centre (Hougue du Pommier sports centre) takes approximately 38 minutes (3.2km)
Turn left out of St Pierre Park Hotel and follow the road around right until you reach the traffic lights. Continue straight along the road until you reach the next set of traffic lights. Turn right at these lights and along Le Friquet Road until you reach the filter. Turn right at the filter and then left at the next filter onto Route de la Charruée. Follow the road along and follow it around right until the table tennis centre is on your right.
For a quieter walk, turn right at the first traffic lights and down along Footes Lane until you reach some more traffic lights. Turn left at the traffic lights and right into Pont Vaillant. Follow this along until you turn left into Verte Rue. Turn left at the yellow line and right at the filter onto Route de la Charruée and follow as per the instructions above.

Walking from Footes Lane to Guernsey Table Tennis Centre (Hougue du Pommier sports centre) takes approximately 28 minutes (2.3km)
Turn right out of Footes Lane and follow the road until you reach the traffic lights. Turn left at the traffic lights and right into Pont Vaillant. Follow this along until you turn left into Verte Rue. Turn left at the yellow line and right at the filter onto Route de la Charruée. Follow the road along and follow it around right until the table tennis centre is on your right.
For a quieter walk, turn right at the yellow line exiting Verte Rue, left onto Douit Lane and follow the road until you turn left along Rue des Marais. Turn left at the yellow line along Route de la Hougue de Pommier and follow the road until Guernsey Table Tennis Centre is on your left. This route will take approximately 34 minutes in total and is 2.8km.
Walking route Footes Lane to Hougue du Pommier
Walking from Cobo Bay Hotel to Guernsey Table Tennis Centre (Hougue du Pommier sports centre) takes approximately 16 minutes (1.3km).
Turn right out of Cobo Bay hotel along the coast and right at the filter along Route de Carteret (tip: you can take the nature trail and across Mare de Carteret Playing Fields for a safer route). Follow the road all the way until you reach the yellow line. Take care crossing the road as you turn left onto Route de la Hougue de Pommier. Follow the road until Guernsey Table Tennis Centre is on your right.
