Rocquaine

Rocquaine Bay St Peter's, Guernsey, GY7 9BY

The individual triathlon will take place at Rocquaine, near the historic Fort Grey.

The bay is located in the south west corner of the Island. The swim will be in the bay itself with the cycle route around the parishes of St Peter's and Torteval and the run will be along the coast. For full route details see the triathlon page.

During the race, many roads will be closed so walking and cycling is highly recommended. There will be some limited parking in a field near the transition area at Route de Rocquaine.

Follow the west coast road all the way and head to Fort Grey - you will see this clearly.

During the triathlon, road access for vehicles will be extremely limited. The route will be fully marshalled. Spectator parking is available in a field opposite Fort Grey.

Guernsey Buses regular services will be free during the games, making transport easier for islanders and visitors, starting the day before the games on Friday 7th July, and continuing until the end of the games on Friday 14th July.

Taxi App

Although we do not have an Uber service in Guernsey, you can hail taxis on both Android and iPhone using the States of Guernsey new Taxi App which has been launched in time for the Games.

The app provides ad on-demand sevice. Pre-booking a taxi in advance will still need to be done by contacting taxi companies directly. The app will provide an estimated fare for the journey, however, the fare will be taken from the in-vehicle taxi meter and paid directly to the driver.

Follow the west coast road all the way and head to Fort Grey - you will see this clearly. The coast road can get busy and there are stretches without pavements so please take care. 

During the triathlon, road access for vehicles will be extremely limited, but pedestrian access will be available at all times. Crossing of roads will be limited during the cycling. The route will be fully marshalled.

During the triathlon, road access for vehicles will be extremely limited, but pedestrian access will be available at all times. You will not be able to cycle along certain parts of the course, but you will be able to push your bicycle. Crossing of roads will be limited during the cycling part of the race. The route will be fully marshalled.
